Sabai Grass, an indigenous locally available perennial Jungle grass, is hand cut, sundried, plaited and handstitched painstakingly by the rural women of Mayurbhanj, Odisha. Sabai Grass is locally known as Bubei. It is a very sturdy material and used for years for pulling heavy materials like artillery, such is its strength.
